NaNoWriMo Week 4: VICTORY!

Not gonna lie, y’all, I didn’t see this coming. Escrow on the new house closes in two weeks, I’ve been helping Mom & Dad sort and clean and pack all month, I work 2 part-time jobs, and there were many days where I either didn’t write or only got two or three hundred words written. But, I DID IT AND HOLY HELL VICTORY IS SWEET.

Now that NaNo is over with, there’s one thing I can comfortably say: I’m more than fully prepared to delve back into my Generations series, ship Gen Y out to Query Land, and make strides toward completing its sequel, Gen X. Whether publication is something I pursue with my NaNo novel (still untitled lmao) is still pretty up in the air. I’ve got a lot written on it, but there’s still a lot more to go before I can even begin editing, which I feel a lot more comfortable doing tbh, so we’ll just have to see.

Additionally, during December, I'm planning a (SHORT) series of blog posts where I'll basically review all the things I learned via trial-and-error during NaNo and share all my royal screw ups and new-found knowledge with y'all. Should be fun, right? *nervous laughter*

In other news, my weekly book reviews will be returning! Yay! I’ve been stalking Amazon and a few email lists I’ve subscribed to so that I can hopefully find some fabulous books, and judging by my growing Kindle library, I’ve got myself set for, like, the next six years. (Okay, that’s an exaggeration. More like six months. But whatever.)

How about y’all? Who did NaNo? How did you fare? I’d love to hear your NaNo survival stories in the comments!
